Position: Senior Telecom Engineer - IP Networking Ref# MTI-TX20-STEIPN

Duties: Engineer, install, commission, configure, integrate and troubleshoot telecom IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystems) network solutions. Performing engineering, development, integration, and testing of telecommunication networks. Working with technical support and troubleshooting of IP core networks and associated protocols such as BGP, OSPF, L2 Tunneling. Installation, configuration and integration of telecom IP equipment. Performing design review of IP architecture and applications. Prepare and execute test plans. Simulate faults in production in the lab and propose fixes. Lead customer acceptance testing. Lead solution customization and systems integration.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of experience to involve performing engineering, development, integration, and testing of telecommunication networks. In addition, 3 years of experience stated herein to involve: (1) working with technical support and troubleshooting of IP core networks and associated protocols such as BGP, OSPF, L2 Tunneling. Position: Telecom Engineer - RF Ref# MTI-TX20-TERF

Duties: Perform Radio (RF) network survey and design. Analyze data collected by field team and prepare RF survey and Data Network Analysis report using RF processing tools such as ACTIX and Windcatcher. Prepare design for indoor wireless network including single carrier-multicarrier CDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE and 5G systems using RF design tools such as iBwave. Do network modeling, planning and analysis for 5G technologies such as Small Cells, Massive MIMO, beamforming. Analyze data collected by filed team after network equipment is installed to assess network performance using tools such as NetAct and Traffica. Analyze call flows using protocols analyzers and ensure it conforms to telecommunications standards such as 3GPP. Recommend and implement changes to network configuration to improve/optimize network performance. Configure wireless network elements such as Node Bs and Radio Network Controllers and integrate them to existing network after network implementation team installs new network elements. Present RF Survey, design, and optimization reports to customers. Requires 30% travel to various unanticipated client locations throughout the United States.

Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Telecommunications, or closely related field of study, and 1-year of experience to involve: (1) analyzing RF Networks; (2) design and optimization of RF Networks; and (3) analyzing RF propagation characteristics and RF protocol messages.

In lieu of 1-year of experience in the following: (1) analyzing RF Networks; (2) design and optimization of RF Networks; and (3) analyzing RF propagation characteristics and RF protocol messages, employer will accept the completion of twelve (12) credit hours of graduate-level telecommunications course work herein.
